All the time, people are coming up with good ideas that can help improve Council services. The Council wants to recognise and encourage these ideas and reward those who submit them - both Council staff and local residents. The Council also wants to recognise and reward those members of staff who go beyond the normal expectations of their job because of their commitment to public service.
The smartideas scheme has two parts:
Ideas:
To recognise and reward those who come up with an idea that improves Council services.
Open to Council staff and members of the public
Service:
To recognise and reward those who go beyond the normal expectations of their job simply because of their commitment to public service.
Open to individual members of staff and teams
The Scheme is based on a nomination process. Nominations may be submitted by colleagues or members of the public.
